We seek enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are knowledgeable about public relations and interested in developing career skills.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of public relations from prior studies, internships or volunteer work. Strong research, writing, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills are important.
Availability:
- We offer winter, fall, spring and summer internships.
Weekly Schedule:
- We are flexible, but request that interns be consistent once a schedule has been set we can best allocate assignments.
16 hours per week minimum commitment.
Compensation:
- Although this is an unpaid internship, travel will be compensated. Many students apply for college credit for the internship and we work with them to help fulfill any requirements their school may have.

What students will learn:
- Interns will gain practical experience in a variety of public relations projects and activities. Working in an exciting entrepreneurial environment you will research industries and statistics for media outreach and new business presentations, compile and distribute creative product samples to interested media, sit in on conference calls and join in brainstorming sessions, assist with event planning, pinpoint target media and contacts expediting media relations and outreach process and actively participate in the day to day activities for a diverse range of accounts.
