NEW YORK, January 2007 – G.S. Schwartz & Co. Inc., a mid-sized independent public relations agency headquartered in New York, today announced significant gains in 2006, representing the agency’s best year since 2000, and one of the best since the agency was founded 25 years ago.
“2006 has been extraordinary, reflected in new business coming from many different sectors and geographies, nationally and internationally, and we are extremely optimistic for 2007,” said Jerry Schwartz, president and founder of the 25-year-old agency.
“We recently added the UVI Research and Technology Park in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands; the city of Manchester, the UK’s second largest financial and professional services center, and RePromotion, an Israeli software firm. Other international clients include TechnoSource, a successful Hong Kong-based game company; Walkerswood, a Jamaican producer of food products and Tiens Biotech Group, a Chinese manufacturer of nutritional supplements listed on the Amex.”

“We are pleased with the success of our separate new business, Digital Power and Light (DPAL), a content-based solutions provider,” stated Schwartz. “DPAL creates multi-platform marketing programs integrating traditional media and digital media to reach clients’ target audiences. It recently completed a microsite and an MP3 in-flight campaign for Ames Walker International, an online seller of support hosiery. DPAL has also created a community site for the Council of Public Relations Firms and social network program for Triarco, a leading nutraceutical company.”
